titch Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Just got 40 lovely Chromebooks. All setup and in management console. Got a couple of small niggles I want to iron out and not sure if they are possible. I have setup a few chrome apps which seem to install each time a user logs in. The most noticeable one is adblock which always pops up and says thank you for installing adblock etc would you like to donate. Anyone know how to stop it doing this or do I just not install it? Also each time a user logs into a different chromebook they are given a welcome to chrome tour etc. Anyway of getting rid of this? Lastly I have a message that the version of chrome I am using is out of date. I have them setup to download the stable releases, should I just be patient and wait for them to happen? Thanks in advance. I may add to the list as I go. As a whole though the install process has been pretty simple and they are working very well.
titch Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 Also anyone know how I stop them from asking for a user thumbnail on first login? Cheers
