Proxy pick up error for some staff

Running a Windows Server 2008 Domain with mostly Windows 7 Pro clients. Student log ons ok. However, random staff are not picking up the proxy setting on logging onto a fresh client. Odd thing is staff members set up on the same day logging onto nearby clients pick the proxy up ok?

I had this occasionally. I re-created the staff member in AD, moved them in to correct OU and gpupdate /force their machine. Picked up the proxy without problem.

Hi, probably not related and certainly not a fix but had a similar issue yesterday. The PC' would randomly decide to get blocked access by the LA Blox filter. No reason why, fri ok, Monday not, and it was not staff related as same member logged on elsewhere and it worked. Ours did have proxy settings picked up as it was getting as far as the Blox server off site but was completely random what machine got blocked. A phone call to the LA shed no light on it but he did admit ere was an issue they were working on.
