[sims] Can't even log in to SIMS

Hi guys,

I am currently logged in as the local administator for this particular machine. We decided to run SIMS in a standalone environment for testing etc. I copied the mdf and ldf for our server to a folder on this machine and installed SIMS as you would normally, upgraded to the latest version and then attached our database (which is also up to date). When I log in as the system manager, I get the error: Fault Code: 9390-2861-7000 The type initializer for 'SIMS.Processes.DocumentManagement' threw an exception - When trying to login to SIMS .net.

 

Details:

at SIMS.UserInterfaces.MainContainer..ctor(ParameterlessDelegate splashScreenClose, String autoStartMenuItemPath)

at SIMS.UserInterfaces.DefaultEntryPoint.Main(String[] commandLineArguments)

 

 

It refers to 'DocumentManagement'. Even though this machine is a document server, do you think it's looking for our main one and can't find it (because it's running in an isolated environment)?

Have you thought about contacting your SIMS support team who you pay all that money for, support?

If you type the error code into solution search on SupportNet, you will find this KB: KB403095, which has a resolution for this error code.
