[Request] SAML / ADFS Support for HAP+

Seeing as our school is currently rolling out Office 365 to students and staff with single sign on (using ADFS 3.0), It would be nice if SAML support could be added to HAP+.

It may be very useful for those using stuff like Moodle (with Shibboleth / simpleSAML) and other services that use federated logins!

 

I am aware there is NTLM SSO support, but this is for a SAML implementation.

Unfortunately due to the limitation of impersonating a user on a server ADFS support isn't possible. I've tried and couldn't get it to work, but if someone wants to look at the code they are more than welcome, just let us know how you did it so we can help the community out with it.
