MyFiles and Dollar Shares

Hello

I wonder if someone can help me please? I have installed HAP and am configuring the My Files but my home directories and shares etc are protected / hidden using dollar shares e.g. \\fileserver\students$\%username%

 

I get a few errors:

 

Could not find a part of the path '\\fileserver\students$\myusername'.

 

and

 

Could not find file '\\fileserver\student$\myusername\'.

 

Are dollar shares supported?

 

Also, when connecting to a non dollar share it works, but I lose the upload toolbar etc. Is this easily fixed?

$ work fine, RM uses $ for it's shares, and I use $ on our cluster network. \\server\username$, \\server\homes$\username

 

Check that you don't need the FQDN
