networkmangler Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I am looking for a lockable enclosed desk that can hold a computer, screen, amp and maybe a few other bits. It needs to be black as its going into a theater I am considering using a data cab and buying shelves for it to fit all the bits into it but I would rather look at purpose built things first. Has anyone got any recommendations? or any examples of what they have done?
ICTDirect_Dave Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Get yourself a 12U Portable rack. Get a cople of shelves in there for amp and PC and get a kvm rack to hold a monitor. You can lock it down and also move it around. Plus they're a lovely matte black

Trapper Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 How good a chippy is your Site Manager? Mine runs his own recording studio. I swear we have the best equipped AV system and box for any primary of our size in the country! He built a brand new lockable mixing desk/cupboard with iPad shelves, mic storage racks the lot.
