RDS 2012 - HA Setup Not Working

Hi,

 

I have a setup at the moment that im trying to get working. My setup consists of the following:

5 x Session Hosts

2 x Web Access

2 x Connection Broker

1 x SQL

1 x Gateway

I have configured the connection broker HA and this is working using the DNS name that is published locally. For external clients, i have a separate entry for in external DNS for the gateway and have specified this via the collection settings.

Internally, users can see the RDP desktop that is there by default and when they click it, the prompt shows the correct gateway server and the correct remote computer address (that matches the published name for webaccess).

 

Internally, the user is logged onto one of the web access servers for some reason and i dont know why?

 

RD CAP and RAP are set correctly and have tried listing the brokers and the session hosts servers

Have removed the web access servers and installed web access role onto gateway server. Still gives the same issue as users are redirected to the gateway server to launch the remoteapp. Do i need to set redirection somewhere?
