Dos_Box Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 If you live near and were not aware, ComicCon is coming back to Manchester this weekend: Manchester Comic Con Me and mine went last year and had a blast. Plenty to see and do. Just be warned that if you do not prebook a ticket then the queues can get very long. Don't be put off though we queued last year and it was very entertaining but we've pre-booked this year
featured_spectre Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Went to the London one, it was pretty good However do not expect to get things autographed unless you pay for it, and never ever get anything personalised on a comic as you ruin the value.
Dos_Box Posted July 18, 2014 Author Posted July 18, 2014 If you are in the north I can highly recommend The Lakes International Comic Art Festival: Home | Comic Art Festival | Lake District | Cumbria Festival | Kendal Comic Art at Kendal in October. We went last year and it was fab. Got to meet Carlos Ezquarra and John Wagner and had them sign a limited edition print they were selling (now framed and hung in the house) as well Hunt Emerson and Bryan Talbot. Highly recommended.
cobra427col Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 I bet if I pass a comic shop run by an old mate of mine - this weekend it'll have a sign on door Closed due to comic con back monday with a smile
