abillybob Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Hey Guys Trying to image a computer, the client finds the WDS server but then it says TFTP Timeout and won't go any further? Not a clue why I have checked and everything I can see the server end looks fine and I haven't changed any settings? It used to work perfectly!? Any ideas? Cheers
Joanne Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Have you tried restarting the WDS services? Is it listening on port 60?
sted Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 have you installed any windows updates on the server recently? but check this thread http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-server-2008-r2/63922-wds-stops-working-clients-pxe-e32-tftp-open-timeout.html lol thats the 3rd hit on google 1
abillybob Posted July 9, 2014 Author Posted July 9, 2014 (edited) I have just tried restarting the Service and it hasn't made any difference, No it doesn't have the Port 60 thingy checked, I thought that was only if it was also a DHCP server? (of which it isn't) have you installed any windows updates on the server recently? but check this thread http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-server-2008-r2/63922-wds-stops-working-clients-pxe-e32-tftp-open-timeout.html lol thats the 3rd hit on google That only seems to be an issue if it's also a DNS server which this one isn't? I tried it anyway, it worked! I should have searched I'm sorry, typical user over here! Cheers @sted Edited July 9, 2014 by abillybob
