This Theme Can't be applied - RDS Farm on Server 2012R2

Hi There,

 

Has anyone come across an issue where you launch a remote application through a Remote Desktop Services Farm and you get a 'This theme can't be applied to the desktop.'?

 

 

 

Its becoming a pain as its the only thing stopping me from rolling out the solution and nothing seems to get rid of it.

Hi Stephen,

 

After having this issue bugging me for a long time, I came across the following site:

 

Kim Hellman - Being right is better than being great: "This theme can't be applied to the desktop"

 

Even though 2012R2 doesn't really use Aero - specifying the path "%windir%\Resources\Themes\aero.theme".

 

This seems to be working for now..
