Mavericks Finder and WebDAV

I'm getting extremely poor performance when trying to access an AWS/AMI hosted webdav folder from Mavericks (10.9.3) Finder.

 

Going via the terminal is just about ok in terms of performance, but having to use it is inconvenient.

 

Anyone else having problems with WebDAV?

This is a known bug that showed up in Mavericks.

There are a few things you might try in the Finder settings to improve performance until it is fixed, which possibly might not be until Yosemite.

Otherwise, you can try one of the 3rd party WebDav clients for the Mac to workaround this issue:

 

Cyberduck

 

Transmit

 

Forklift

 

Pathfinder

 

Forklift or Pathfinder can pretty much function as Finder replacements if you so desire.
