mdench Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Trying to set up Google Cloud Print for our site. Now this seems to have worked as I have configured the user in PaperCut side of bits and can publish printers to the cloud. But when i log in to manage those printers they show as offline? I can share and print to them but the jobs just sit there. Has anyone else set this feature up? If so did you have to change anything else to get this working?
fiza Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Are you still having issues with this? I have just set it up and found that I had to open up ports on my firewall (via lgfl) to allow Google Cloud print to work.
mdench Posted August 8, 2014 Author Posted August 8, 2014 Tbh I've not looked at it in a while as loads of other stuff came up. I thought it might be a firewall thing but we set up our smoothie to allow ports to that server for testing (on our own leased line) and still couldn't get it to do anything... was very weird
fiza Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 in case it helps we had to allow tcp 5222 from our papercut server (as source IP) to Googles cloud print services.
