funkyfin2000 Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Hi Guys, Can anyone help me with this one... We want to disable One Drive in Office 365 across the whole of the tenancy - I know I can disable it for all future users and individually turn off the permission for individual users but is there a blanket way (maybe via powershell) that allows me to take away access to One Drive. Any help greatly appreciated! Rich
apearce Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 If you are happy to remove the social features as well for that user you can do this through permissions in the SharePoint Online Admin Centre. Got to Admin in the top right corner (assuming you are a 365 global admin) and go to SharePoint admin. Select User Profiles from the left navigation. Under People, go to Manage User Permissions and from there you can select users and groups and the permission they have to create a personal site or not (their OneDrive).
funkyfin2000 Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 Hi Alex, That's fine for users that are to be created, but what about ones that have already created their personal space - I know I can remove access individually but that's very time consuming, I want to disable their One Drive after creation for everyone in the tenancy. Any help appreciated Rich
