Moodle + Google apps for education

Hello people,

 

Moodle has been raised again here to look at. We are a Google school so not sure how it would intergrate into the current systems, or if Moodle would live on its own totally alone.. Super early days so as I google search and go through the wealth of information here on thought I'd ask just in case anyone has been in a similar situation.

We use Moodle and Google here (Though we are likely going to be moving to Moodle and Office 365)

There is a plugin for Moodle that provides SSO between itself and Google Apps that works really well. The Google Drive repository gets used quite a bit here and with a bit of a code change (can't remember exactly where but I can dig it out) students can submit Google Docs as an assignment.

now that sounds great. I might take you up on the offer for the code to be dug out but not yet as very early days here and more putting the feelers out to see whats possible and whats not, or at least much harder to achieve.
