YouTube Options

Hello,

So I'm aware the GOOD YouTube options extension for Chrome is no longer free, but does anyone have any good alternatives?

So that you can hide the comments etc. and I would like to know how to deploy this via a GPO?

I've switched to YouTube center: https://github.com/YePpHa/YouTubeCenter/wiki

 

There is also Magic Actions but it looks suspiciously ad-ware and has less features.

Depending on what you have in the way of filtering, it may be worth looking into Youtube for Schools.

 

School-appropriate

 

School administrators and teachers can log in and watch any video, but students cannot log in and can only watch YouTube EDU videos, plus videos that their school has added. All comments and related videos are disabled and search is limited to YouTube EDU videos.

Apparently we've had that in the past and it didn't work too well!
