Mobile charger pods

At the conference i noticed and was kindly offered to use @Domino mobile charger. I noticed that @robk also had one too.

 

I thought they were a really good idea and i thought about getting one. Mentioned it to the OH and she too said ooooh good idea so i am asking which one should i go for.

 

Ive seen the RAVpower 10000 mah one which seems to get good reviews but ive also seen the anker 10000 mah one too. Out of the 2 i think they are just as good as each other but would like to know if anyone else had opinions or experience of these mobile charging pods and what to go for / stay away from.

Anker is the way to go man, lots of good reviews across the board. ..and I know lots of edugeeks are happy customers too.

I agree with Anker. The difficult bit is choosing which one. I have this one which successfully rescued both my iphone and @Ephelyon's at BETT in successive charges.

Anker! Had mine for years now....weighs the same as a car battery but has served me well.

I've also seen the anker 10,000 mAh one too.

I would get the 2nd Gen 12,000 mAh Anker Astro3 instead since it's newer, more energy efficient, has three USB ports and is less of a fingerprint magnet than the 10,000 mAh Astro 3E.

 

The 12,000 mAh battery can be a bit heavy to lug around all day, so the 6,000 mAh or 9,000 mAh batteries might be worth considering too?

Anker here as well. Their CS can't be beat. Had the charging port on mine break, they sent me a new updated one free of charge. I have the 8400 mha one since December of 2011 and saved me many times.

Thanks everyone . I remember having a larger battery for my htc sensation and that was an anker battery, it too never let me down.
