teejay Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Anyone else watching Happy Valley? Absolutely brilliant but I have to say the last two episodes have left me rather shell shocked from some of the scenes, had real trouble sleeping last night. It was filmed near where we live, so its been fun spotting the roads we drive along and streets we know, but maybe that's made it a bit too real...
speckytecky Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Anything with Sarah Lancashire in nowadays seems destined to be good viewing. I reckon she must be on for an award with this one - I missed the earlier episodes but last nights viewing was excellent. Mind my fav of the moment is Fargo. 1
Haptic Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Fargo is incredible, much better than I thought. Happy Valley (according to my amazingly switched-on Grandma) is supposed to be awesome, really grim though. Need a catch up session. Joe
teejay Posted May 28, 2014 Author Posted May 28, 2014 really grim though. It's set in Halifax, of course it's grim 1
SpuffMonkey Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Enjoying it - but I don't find the Steve Pemberton character very convincing though
