[sims] Interfacing with SAP

Does anyone have any experience of linking their MIS with SAP HR or SAP finance. Currently interested in two way links between SIMS, FMS and SAP but would be pleased to learn if other MIS systems have achieved this. If you are a school in a SAP authority what processes do you have for reconciling data e.g. staff details ?
