elsiegee40 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 You would have thought that somebody, somewhere would have double checked the width of the track? The French PM blamed it on having separate companies operating the trains and the track, but we have that here. The reason that trains weren't upgraded on my line for ages was because the standard new stock available wouldn't fit through the Sevenoaks tunnel, so we had to wait until they could get/afford a narrower spec train.
