Exchange 2010 SP3 DAG

Hi all

 

I need to set up a DAG and really running out of time to get it up and running as I'm leaving this position soon - my problem is that our DB is very large, and I can't really afford to to take up another couple of terabytes on SAS storage on our SANs. We do, however, have plenty of lower speed SATA storage.

 

Will setting up a DAG with the primary DB on SAS disks and the secondary on lower speed SATA disks cause any major issues? I have read in a whitepaper previously (that I can't find any more) that it's not recommended, but wondered if anyone had experienced issues in practice?
