I would like to travel abroad with a laptop but still accessmy local PC

I have recently seen a USB plugin DONGLE type device thatsomehow protects your PC from outsiders tracking your Laptop whiles you aresurfing the net.

Additionally you can set your location to pretend that youare in a different location whiles you are surfing.

Does anybody knows what this device is called and where youcan purchase it?

I would have grave concerns about any kind of USB hardware that claims to do such things.
