Disable the Renaming of the Windows Speaker?

Hi All,

 

Some pupils have recently discovered that they can rename the Speaker in Windows 7 so they've started to type offensive stuff which isn't great for Year 7's!!!

 

Do you know if it's possible to disable this using GPO's so it's not possible to simply right click the speaker on the toolbar, select playback devices, click on speakers and properties?

 

If this is/isn't possible how would you recommend I change it back to "Speaker" on all devices other than checking it manually?

Have a look at this thread clicky as there is a script there we use to rename them automatically at start up regardless if they have been renamed or not.
