Silently Push Apps to iPads using Profile Manager

As of today, in the UK, is it possible to silently push free/paid VPP apps from an Apple Mac Server running 10.9 to iPads running iOS 7.1?

 

I am planning on using Profile Manager to do this and therefore not require any form of Sync and Charge device.

 

I've tried to find out for myself if possible but some documents talk about DEP (which isn't available in UK yet?) and others point to the end user having to enter credentials.

Yes you can do this. We have Profile Manager on OS X Server 10.9 using iOS 7.1 iPads and we can silently push apps to Apple ID's which are in turn logged into our iPads.

And was it easy enough to setup?

 

Do all the iPads use different Apple IDs? Because these are not for 1:1, I was planning to just create Apple IDs as ipad1@, ipad2@ etc one for each iPad.
