AQA SecureAssess

So, AQA have also started using the SecureAssess platform - and initially, I thought GREAT as EdExcel also use it and it works fine (apart from being a wierd installer which puts it at c:\users\public - no matter where you specify)...

 

But no...this one has a "Local" version, which needs a local server install and local client again. Fine...server installs ok. Client, same silliness as above (at least they ammend the paths to tag the exam board on!)... but it keeps having issues with Proxy. Its set in its xml to our TMG proxy, with authentication details but nope!

 

For the love of god!!

 

Anyone got it running and give any pointers?

We had no luck with getting it to proxy with smoothwall - but then we can get out to the internet without proxy anyway, can you add it to some sort of authentication exception list in TMG perhaps?
