NSA 3600 bridging

Hi all,

 

I have just taken delivery of some shiny new Sonicwalls, but I can't for the life of me work out how I can bridge more than 2 interfaces on the 3600 NSA.

 

I want to group 3 sets of 4 ports for 3 different DMZ's, so I can get rid of some 8 port dumb switches and plug servers straight into the NSA.

 

Is this possible as there is no portshield option evident in the config.

Did you manage to do this? I know you need portsheild, but is that on the 3600? - This may help my issue smoothwall have introduced with update 90.

Hi, it got solved with one of the last updates to the SonicOS software which added Portshield to the higher end units, which I always found weird it was only the little units that had portshield!

 

Not sure that would help with Smoothwall though.

What software update version was that please?

It came along as part of the 6.2.0.0 platform update, which was on early release. We are currently running 6.2.2.0-12n successfully.

Just downloaded 6.2.2.1-14n so it might sort this out.
