Video Camera

Hi

 

Can anybody recommend a reasonably priced video camera for us to use in school - just for such things as recording assemblies/performances?

 

We currently have a Panasonic VDR-D160 which has proved troublesome due to the recording format - we have to convert if we need to use Movie Maker, for example.
