Probot software

Hi Everyone

 

The school has around 10 probots (Pro-Bot) do any other schools use these? They are good for basic programming and control.

 

The software supplied still ships with Windows XP drivers and will not work with windows 7 machines, has anyone else faced this problem and can anyone point me in the direction of a workaround or windows 7 driver?

Is this the case in compatibility mode?

Is there any way to tell the difference? model number? When plugged into usb mine says CONVERTER as the device

Sorry to bring up an old thread, mine also says "Converter" on WIndows 7 were you able to resolve this issue? We will be moving to Windows 10 soon.

Don't think I ever saw them again, mostly they just programmed them from the built in buttons

Thanks mavhc, I've emailed TTS, just waiting for a response, don't think it will be good news.

 

We'll just have to use them as standalone once they get used to using the Probotix software.
