I have a process that is meant to run at 8pm to generate an output file and put it into a shared folder.

Im looking for a way to check a shared folder for the existence of the file, and then send an email if it doesn't exist.

As its a shared folder, I guess I could run this as either a Linux cron based script or run it as a scheduled task on the windows server itself.

My problem is I dont know how to write scripts :)

Could anyone please assist? Many thanks!!
