alfatec Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Hi, Does anybody have an Apple MacBook pro laptop trolley with approx. 20+ laptops on a Meru network. We just purchased 20 new MacBook Pro's and are struggling with them on our Meru network. Soon as we take them off all runs fine or if we put the standalone Netgear wireless back in all runs fine. it is only when we try and connect them to the Meru wireless network.
FN-GM Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Have you tried updating the firmware on your wireless?
alfatec Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 Yes all the points and controller have the latest firmware
psydii Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Ours are running fine, but we are on old versions. Who did you initial install? We had terrible trouble getting our Macs onto the WPA2-Enterprise network until we found a step by step guide (turns out the version of OS X we run had a quirky implementation and you have to set things up in a very very specific order to get it to work, the problem was the macs not the network infrastructure.)
alfatec Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 Ours were funning fine until we upgraded to the new 1020e. What AP's are you using. When we had the AP301 it seemed to be fine.
psydii Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 AP320's If it worked before but after I'd give Meru support a call. Suspect someone may have changed a config setting when installing the new APs.
