Hair and Beauty Bookings

Hey all,

 

This may not get any real response, but it is worth a go. In our new build, we have a Hair and Beauty Salon which is also going to be open to the public to use. We've been asked to find a (preferably free) appointments booking system for them to use, so appointments can be scheduled etc. The free versions I have found only seem to offer one calendar, which isn't enough, sadly, as they may need 4 or 5 different calendars (we are awaiting confirmation as to how many they require). A requirement is that emails can be sent out for appointments, as well as reminders etc.

 

Does anyone use anything similar, or can help out with suggestions for software that can be used?

Are you using Wordpress?

Unfortunately not...we aren't running anything at the moment, but been posed the problem!!

Maybe setting a site up would be a cheap option.

Thanks...I have just discovered these people Salonlite - The world's first free online salon and spa management software so have contacted them. Looks to be free unless you want the full pro setup for stock inventory!

Why do you need more than one calendar?

Surely you will need more than one calendar if you have 4 or 5 "staff" in the salon...so they each have their own individual diary

You would. Clients would choose a member of staff then a free period.

Still seems overkill if you have one calendar you can have multiple appointments happening at the same time and it's easy to see you can't pick the same person as they are allready booked.

 

Or even something like MRBS each person is effectively a "room" that can be booked or any other resource booking system.

Problem is solved here now...We signed up to the Salonlite website, and it's a work of art. Really easy to set up and use...and at the best possible price - FREE!!
