Report on users used HAP

I was wondering if there is a feature (or this could be added to a future release) to show when users have logged in to use HAP. I've not played with the logon tracker in HAP but i guess this is just to find out who has logged on to the machines in a domain. I would like to know who has accessed/logged in to HAP remotely.

 

Is this something that could be easily setup, even if it was to write to a txt file to say time/date and who logged in.

I'd be interested in this too and also if you could get a live list of currently logged in users.

Follow the guide for enabling the SQL tracker. This will then enable the Web Tracker, which gives you some of the HAP+ events (including Logons)

Nick, when you hover over a point on the graph in the Web Tracker you are given a number. Mine stands at around 2000. What does this figure represent?

2000 web tracker events, since the web tracker logs a lot of information.

I see, so logons, file browse, downloads, that sort of thing.

I dont have any reference to tracker in my web.config file

are you able to advise on why i havent got any reference to tracker in my web.config file. I have been following the SQL video and now stuck at this point.

Thank you. The video was a bit misleading as you had everything in one file. Also, i had to change the "server=localhost" to the servername\instance even though the database running on the same server as the hosted site. All working now.

Good to hear, the video was written for an older version of HAP, but it's the same instructions
