CARizzio56 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I searched through the forums but did not find anything regarding this subject. We currently have a production deployment of HAP 7.5 which has been working great. I have been following the various upgrades and want to plan migrating to version 10. Can I upgrade directly to 10.0 or do I need to upgrade in stages? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
nickbro Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 1. Backup your site 2. Save the hapconfig.xml somewhere 3. Delete all 4. Install v10 and v10.1 Update 5. Restore the hapConfig.xml file 6. Run HAP+ If that doesn't work, you will have to reconfigure HAP+ (delete hapConfig.xml) 7. You may need to check the web.config file if you don't get stylesheets
fairm010 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Nick are the styles transferrable from 9.7? To save my CSS changes?
nickbro Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 The basic one should be - - - Updated - - - raw css files, no
nickbro Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Nope, there has been changes to that, compare the 2 files
fairm010 Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) Hi @nickbro, just installed HAP v10 on a new dev Server running server 2012, all going well apart from I get no styles. You said above "You may need to check your web.config" but what exacly am I checking for? TIA Edited June 5, 2014 by fairm010
fairm010 Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Derp, I've fixed it. Removed the bit in web.config that says, quite logically, remove this bit for IIS8
