SYNACK Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Want Window Phone 8.1 now with all the nice little extras like the Cortana assistant you just need to go through a few steps to register your phone for developer preview updates: Here First head to App Studio and sign in with the same Microsoft Account that you use on your phone. This will make some magical change to your account. Next, install the app "Preview for Developers." It's a regular app you can find in the store, or you can send it to your phone here. Then run the app. It's straightforward. It'll ask you to accept some terms and conditions, warning that you may void your warranty. If you don't want to do that, then you'll have to wait for the final release. Otherwise, sign in with your Microsoft Account—the same one that you used at App Studio and check one final box.
SYNACK Posted April 17, 2014 Author Posted April 17, 2014 Well I have upgraded my Lumina 920 and it seems to be going fine, lightens the screen colours a bit but other than that a decent release. Who knows when it hits general release maybe we can even get an edugeek app for it.
