Home filtering

Hi There,

Does anyone know of any free/ cheap software that is good at filtering certain websites that I put on a blacklist.

 

By the way this is for home use.

The router from your ISP should be able to do that for you.

URL blocking on the Bright Box router allows you to restrict certain websites from being accessed by either all computers, or specific computers or devices on your home network.

I too can vouch for the K9 web protection. Also used FreeDNS a while back but can't remember if you can have your own blacklist as well.
