KoolTech Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Hi, has anybody ever had any experience of installing WordShark by White Space? I have it installed on the server and running on the client machines however the software bombs out on them after about a minute with an error of "error 69 Licence could not be validated" Any help would be awesome!
foofighterjim Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Did you do the server or client based install? Server based installs are only suitable for a handful of clients. Your issue seems to suggest a communication issue with the server, have you opened the white space network manager and run the test communicator? Failing that restarting the management service and application? 1
KoolTech Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 I did the server based install as I thought that would be the best way to go, maybe I was wrong! I have and I get a successful test through it. I have also restated the service several times to no avail. Maybe a client based install would be better, does that require uninstalling it all and starting again do you know? Cheers.

I have had problems because I am using CC4 but there is no reason why it should not work on vanilla. Failing that email [email protected] or call 0208 748 1170.

Had a similar issue but can't for the life of me remember how i fixed it...apart from upgrading to 4.8...that doesn't help, i know. EDIT: Like foofighterjim suggested, their support is pretty good. Hi all - an update from Wordshark/Numbershark support: We have a CC4 package for Wordshark 5, and RM have just updated their info to say that they should have our CC4 package for Numbershark 5 approved and back with us around 7th November 2014. - Rik, support manager
