Wirral_Wonderer Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I have just had a meeting with the LA regarding their Becta approved filter with a view to moving to a proper ISP and filter, where I was told that I need to stick with them or buy an accredited PSN connection (Public Services Network) for £6k + internet + filter. After some interrogation it transpires the council will only share information regarding vulnerable students through a PSN through LiquidLogic and we will not be able to access it without a PSN. Are we being led up the garden path with this or are schools now required to have PSN accredited connections, what are schools who are not going through the LA doing about sharing information regarding vulnerable studnets?
