Maiden2k Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Hi, i try to apply a solution like this one (Manage User Profiles for Remote Desktop Services) in our park but it don't works. Anyone who figure it out in MS2012 ? Built to work in 2008 but i can't figure why it shouldn't work in 2012. If i map the mandatory profile directly to the user settings in Active Directory, it works fine. We want to map 3 different remote desktop mandatory profiles to select groups of users in our AD domain, If we can't do this via GPO like in 2008, what is other solutions to do this ? thanks
Sam_Brown Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Other solution is loop back processing on the OU the servers are in. We have separate GPOs for our RDS Servers.
Maiden2k Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 i tried loop back procesing but maybe got it wrong i'll make an another try do you merge or replace ?
Maiden2k Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 i tried and it just don't work, the gpo don't apply, i created a new one, same results simple GPO: - i define the remote desktop profile path - i enable using of mandatory profiles on the host server - i enable the loopback processing and merge it i apply the gpo to the OU of my 2 RDS servers and i tell the GPO to apply at one User Group only, and yes my users are in the group anything i done wrong ? miss something ? thanks
