HYPERV Snapshot Question

I have a 2012 VM setup as a server which has a drive which is actually an ISCSI target on a QNAP NAS.

If I take a snapshot, make some changes, including changes in the ISCSI drive and then revert to the snapshot would my changes in the drive revert?

The snapshot processes freezes a VHD and creates a new extension file to record changes to. This file is either merged with the original VHD or discard when the snapshot is deleted.
