Hi,

We are having a new website built for the school and have just got access to the CMS which is based on Silverstripe.

Everything seems to work fine except a really odd problem with one part of the CMS - the Pages section. Each time I click on the Pages link, it tries to load but seems to get stuck until I hit refresh, then it loads fine. This happens for any part of the Pages section, but the rest of the CMS works fine. It isn't a browser issue, have tried it in IE, Chrome and Safari, and on Windows and OSX; same thing happens each time.

I've tried it from outside SWGfL and it works perfectly, so must be something to do with the filtering proxy. I've added the URL (with wildcards) to our unfiltered list but it's made no difference.

The firm developing the site hasn't seen this before, and to be fair to them, it isn't actually a problem with Silverstripe. They've tried to help as much as they can but it is pretty limited.

Anyone got any thoughts as to how I can get around this while I await a response from SWGfL?

Thanks

Humm, after much head-scratching and even contemplating a 3G dongle to bypass SWGfL, the problem fixes itself.

Or maybe the upgrade/maintenance work SWGfL did on their firewall over Easter has cured the anomaly.

Either way, it's something off my to-do list.

Happy happy, joy joy :).
