mattgrimley Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Hey Nick, I know you are close to a release and that you closed the additional features off to get there, but if any of these make sense to you, any chance they can go on the back burner? 1> Would it be possible for the "Additional Admins" setting on a Resource to allow access to the "Make Static" and "Recurance" options? "Recurrence" is spelled wrong too 2> When the resource is set to "Room" and no quantities are specified, can the "Quantity:" text be hidden? 3> Can there be an option to default to "Custom" instead of the drop-down for "Subject"? I want to share the Sports Hall and replacing the subject with the custom box would allow them to enter their sports without having to choose Custom every time.. The preview is looking amazing by the way. I love the Weekview and the Dayview on the booking system! As for the Helpdesk.. wow! Stonking! Have a good weekend mate, Matt
minimoo Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 hmm, I know i'm not Nick, but /me will look As an aside, I've taken a stab at fixing the booking rules functionality - as you seem to have a fair idea of what's feasible, and I think it was you that led to Nick initially looking at booking rules, you might want to have a play. For instance, you can do something like ( last 2 are default rules, first one is my rule to disallow bookings on a period called 'lunch' in all rooms busy(Lunch) busy(GoneHome) bookcharging(booking.NextLesson(),Resource.ChargingPeriods) bookcharging(booking.NextLesson(),Resource.ChargingPeriods) bookunavailable(booking.PreviousLesson(),-1))

"block" : "none"); change line 469: $("#bfsubject").val(""); to $("#bfsubject").val(res == "Sports Hall" ? "Custom" : ""); Remove the next 2 lines
mattgrimley Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Hey Paul, I honestly can't remember what prompted it.. but connecting an idea / question to a farm more expansive and powerful answer isn't always obvious!! I'll certainly have a play with it (once i get the main functionality working nicely!) - It would be great to have lunch bookable for some areas and not for others. (for clubs etc). Nick, Cheers for all of that - really great stuff. I'll have a play with that code change as well, it seems fairly logical!! - - - Updated - - - Hey Paul, I honestly can't remember what prompted it.. but connecting an idea / question to a farm more expansive and powerful answer isn't always obvious!!
