Hi all,

The Mac users have the Library folder within their Home Directory on the (Windows) network. However, for some reason after using Safari 'everyone' is denied delete permissions to this folder. Has anyone come across this before and if so do you know how to fix it?

Thanks,

I'm confused when you say they have "Library" folder in their home drives? Is this because you have created an Alias (Shortcut) and pasted it into their home areas?

If you go to finder and click "go" on the top menu then hold down alt you will see the Library folder pop up under there, so the users can just click on that. Although it would worry me giving full access rights to my users under Library! Otherwise it's just about setting permissions on the Library folder to All Users!

Sorry I'm fairly new with Macs: I've unchecked the force local drive so it does not store anything on the local drives then connected to the domain (and mac server).

Then when they log into a Mac it creates a Library folder within their home directories (not the local library folder), which contains all their personal preferences. It's this folder which is set so everyone has deny permission. However, safari crashes when this has deny permission.
