shady_ry Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Hi I am new to this site (and indeed new to ICT) Not sure if anyone has any ideas on this but I am trying to print to a HP deskjet 694C in my office, it says the printer is online and functioning correctly, went to HP to download the latest driver but surprise surprise they don't provide a downloadable driver (have tried other sources) Basically the issue is you go to print and it sends the job to the print queue successfully but it goes straight to pause and when you right click to say start/resume job it only prints about an eight of a page. Anyone else had any similar issues? I should add the printer isn't faulty as someone else printed to it fine Many Thanks in advance
newpersn Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Check drivers. Some windows 7 computers come with a better driver than the plain basic windows xp one. Kinda need for information on your computer really. This printer?
shady_ry Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 Hi many thanks We have managed to resolve this issue. Our papercut account had exceeded its number of licenced users apparently and that was causing the issue goes to prove its not always related to the printer itself or the network
