Jasbo Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Hello, hoping to get some info on what I was thinking was an easy task. W E have office365 and I have setup a documents folder called "doc" in a subsite calle "subsite". If I logon to school.sharepoint.com I can browse to that site and click on the view in explorer on the library. IT opens in folder view, great. Now my understanding is that this is working because it is using WebDAV to connect to that folder. So I tried mapping a drive using that address and this worked, great. So then I try using a WebDAV client to connect to the shame docs folder, this didn't work. So far I have tried using cyberduck, goodsync and bitkinex, all fail. The path I have when I open explorer view is: https://schoolname.sharepoint.com/subsite/docs When I paste this in to map it as a drive I get: Docs(x:) \\school.sharepoint.com@ssl\davwwwroot\subsite Is there anyone who as managed to connect to SharePoint 365 doc library using a WebDAV client like cyber duck, and if so how did they did it many thanks in advance.
Jasbo Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 mmmm, about half way down, MS support state no 3rd pry support, well that blows Trouble making reliable WebDAV connection from ExpressionWeb4 to Office365 Sharepoint site | Sites and document sharing | Microsoft Office 365 Community
eduard Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) Hi , i would recommend to use Goodsync but is very slow , 170kb/ps the reason that you didn't had success connecting goodsync is you didnt complete the configuration " i guess " ok Here are the steps 1. Login to your office 365 admin panel and click remember my creds 2. Go to sites and browse to you Sharepoint team site 3. i was walking around the in circles but in the end i just used the root path example: https://domain.sharepoint.com some times you can fall in to an error 403 (forbidden) that mean that you forgot to login in Internet explorer or you didnt press (remember my Credentials) i will try to send a picture with the additional settings. Another Super Upload Tool. Download it from this link https://spfilezilla.codeplex.com/ FileZilla for Sharepoint (THANK YOU OPEN SOURCE!!! ) Nice Speed and easy to configure , i will try to post some examples Easy - - - Updated - - - Hi , i would recommend to use Goodsync but is very slow , 170kb/ps the reason that you didn't had success connecting goodsync is you didnt complete the configuration " i guess " ok Here are the steps 1.
