mrhcarlin Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Getting our RemoteApp implementation sorted out at the moment - just a few tweaks here and there I need to make after trialing with a handful of staff and through our own testing. We discovered the other day that when a user goes Save As, they can browse and save to numerous " on ". The only drives we want available are our network's mapped drives (their home drive and our shared resource drive). I've spent half an hour on Google and trawled through GP a bit, but can't find anything solid to do with removing a host's local drives. Thanks for any help.
snagrat Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 You need to disable drive redirection. You haven't said what OS is used by the server but this GPO should work if applied to the desktop. Computer config | Policies | Admin Templates | Windows Components | Terminal Services | Terminal Server | Device and Resource Redirection | Do not allow drive redirection 1
mrhcarlin Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 Just to update: This GPO worked a treat - thanks a lot
