As part of this, I have been tasked to find some method of converting exam papers into spoken word. We find that: - Human Readers in exams are expensive, and pupils perceive a stigma with having one - We cannot use human readers in certain exams - The number of pupils given special conditions for exams is growing exponentially. I have been looking at textHelp's Read/Write Gold 11 for this purpose. This software can apparently scan exam papers, convert to PDF and then read aloud. Does anyone use this software, or any other to fit this purpose ?
