edie209 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 (edited) I have been migrating my users from exchange 2007 to Office 365 using the staged migration process. Most of my users have been migrating perfectly however a few are erroring out with the message "The source email address [email protected] couldn't be found in the on-premises domain." I have done some research and found a similar issue, but the solution of un-hiding the user from the global address Book has not worked as the users were not hidden. I have however sorted a few by hiding them and then re enabling them ??? The email in the csv is their primary email address. There are no other different configurations for the problematic users that I am aware of as I did inherent this Exchange 2007 site. Edited February 19, 2014 by edie209 typo
edie209 Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 I now have a solution to this error In AD the users email was set as domain.local NOT domain.com so I changed all the affected users, and then used the Start-OnlineCoexistenceSync command, to sync the Ad with 365 and the migration worked perfectly. I hope this might help out someone else if they get the same error. 1
