Skydrive Pro autoconfigure

Is there a way when a user logs into a student machine skydrive pro will know who they are without Syncing via Outlook webapp? I can't find any GPO to do this so any suggestions? the reason is we want to get rid of local home drives

Also to mention we're using ADFS and everything works like email, spt I just want auto configure of Skydrive Pro

I think you can almost do this with SSO, you need to logon once and open office though which will let you just click a box to log on, if you check the do automatically button it should work like that but may require a bit of user training.
