I'm trying to move from using the old iphone configuration utility to the later Apple Configurator 1.4.3 on osx 10.9

The old configurator worked fine on Windows and I've exported the profile out to the new AC. So far so good! But in the wifi config section it highlights an error on the Identity Certificate which, and the list is greyed out saying there is 'None'. Usefully Apple have put a little red arrow next to this which tells me absolutely nothing!

Our wifi uses self signed certificates for authentication with our radius servers. The root CA and the Radius server certificate are both installed on the mac and can be viewed in keychain. Both certificates show up as valid on the Certificates part of the profile in the AC, so what exactly am I doing wrong?

Gone back to the windows one. So much for the apple configurator. An apple product connected to an apple product running apple software, that was never going to work was it! :p

This morning I've connected 16 ipads to a MacBook to put an app onto all of them using the configurator. Every single one failed because it was unable to install IOS 6 and all the ipads had the "connect to iTunes" message. I've just had to reconfigure every single one of them.

Sounds like he works for you………..

LOL, I wish. One day maybe if we can tempt him away from the public sector though, for sure! He's got lots of people asking him how he does his apple thing on twitter and because I know him, I can vouch for his mad skills.
