How do I / Is it possible to have separate announcements for Staff & Students?

Not possible at the moment, if anyone else would like this feature +1 this thread and I'll add it

+1 - Please add as this would be useful.

 

An example for use - we need to mention to staff that SIMS.net remote app will down for maintenance for a couple of hours, etc. We don't want this to be shown to students.

+1 - This would be a really useful feature, sometimes we don't want the pupils to see an anouncement, or vice versa!

Example:

[Filter:Students]Remote Access Server upgrade planned for Monday, please be aware during Monday 9am - 4pm services may not function properly.[/Filter]

 

Students is replaced by the HAP Students group.

 

You can use ! to say not. So !Students would be everyone who isn't a student.

 

You can do multiple statements: e.g. Domain Admins,Testers,!Teachers
