Senior Systems Administrator (Linux) – Brighton - @£45,000

We require a highly experienced systems administrator to join this market leading e-learning company based in the Brighton area. You will be the senior administrator looking after around 100 servers mostly running Ubuntu alongside 2 other sys admin staff. You will need to be competent at administering web platforms with strong Perl, Shell, Ruby or Python scripting, MySql or PostgreSQL, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, IMAP. Desirable technologies include JVM, Java, Apache, Juniper routers, virtualisation (VMWare, KVM or Zen), Loadbalancing, and highly available clustered servers

The position is varied and fast paced and the company is fast growing and there is a real opportunity to make your mark and potentially join the management team.
